The European Poker Tour (EPT) Season 5 Deauville was won by Moritz Kranich, a 28 year old online pro from Germany. Kranich, the only PokerStars qualifier at the final table, came out on top after a tough heads up with France's Arnaud Esquevin.

Kranich took home the €851,400 winner's check after outlasting a field of 645 players to claim the title. “It’s amazing to win this event. I never imagined when I got here on Tuesday that this would happen. I’m very, very happy,” said Kranich.
