European Poker Tour
The London leg of the PokerStars European Poker Tour (ETP) will take place this year between September 30th and October 7th 2009 and looks set to be the biggest event yet boasting a total of 16 events.
As we reported last week, the future of EPT Moscow looked uncertain because of a decision by the Russian Ministry of Youth, Sport and Tourism to remove poker from its list of official sports. PokerStars have now confirmed that EPT Moscow has been cancelled and will be replaced by a tournament in Kiev (Ukraine).

The world's largest poker room, PokerStars, have announced that they
will be holding a special charity poker tournament in support of the
humanitarian effort in Darfur. The event, to be called Ante Up For Africa Europe Celebrity Poker Tournament will take place on April 27th.
The European Poker Tour (EPT) Season 5 Deauville was won by Moritz Kranich, a 28 year old online pro from Germany. Kranich, the only PokerStars qualifier at the final table, came out on top after a tough heads up with France's Arnaud Esquevin.
