Doyles Room Now Accepts US Poker Players

There was speculation last week that DoylesRoom would be moving to a new network after their customers received an e-mail promising "big changes" in the near future. Today DoylesRoom have announces that they are moving to the Cake Network and will be ACCEPTING US PLAYERS again.

The move to the new network is running smoothly and players are being asked to uninstall their current version and install the new version of the Doyles Room. Existing player balances and loyalty points will transfer over to the new network automatically.

'We wanted to offer our players a rewarding place to play and the liquidity and integrity associated with the Cake Poker Network made this an easy choice for our new partnership,' said Doyle Brunson, the legendarr 10 time WSOP Champion.

To mark the move to their new home, DoylesRoom have announced a $5,000 Launch Party Freeroll at 5pm ET on Saturday and a $100,000 Guaranteed No-Limit Texas Hold'em tournament with a reduced-fee buy-in of $150+$12 at 5pm the following day.

This is the second time the poker room has moved networks due to its policy of always accepting US players. Doyles Room was initially on the Tribeca network until the passage of the US UIGEA prevented them from allowing US players. Their move to the Microgaming Network was going smoothly until a Kentucky Judge ordered the state to seize 140 domain names of allegedly illegal sites. This forced the Microgaming Network to block US players, which resulted in Doyles jumping ship to the Cake Network.
