Full Tilt Poker Bid To Host World's Largest Online Tournament

Full Tilt Poker are hoping to make history this weekend by staging the world's largest online poker tournament.  The record breaking attempt is part of the online poker rooms 5th birthday celebrations and will take place on July 19th at 15:05 ET.

PokerStars currently hold the record for hosting the world's largest online tournament. The poker room easily broke their previous Guinness World Record of 20,000 by attracting a field of 35,000 simultaneous players back in December 2008.

Taking part in this world record attempt will cost just $5 or 1000 Full Tilt Points and Full Tiltare offering a guaranteed prize pool of $250K, plus an added prize pool of $250K.

Team Full Tilt members and WSOP bracelet winners Phil Ivey, Howard Lederer and Chris Ferguson will also take part, offering players the chance to sit down and play with some of the biggest names in online poker.
