Paddy Power Launch iPhone Betting App

Paddy Power have become the latest Bookmakers to get a betting app approved by Apple.  The new Paddy Power iPhone betting app is now free to download from the iTunes App Store. 

The Paddy Power betting app allows iPhone owners place bets on the entire Paddy Power betting catalogue.  Place a bet on any of the sporting events listed on the main Paddy Power website, as well as on 1000’s of markets and novelty bet.  You can also take advantage of all the money back and extra place betting specials you would find at PaddyPower.com

The new betting app will only be available in the United Kingdom and Ireland to begin with, but Paddy Power do expect to launch the betting app in other European countries in 2011.  Thanks to the latest Geo Tagging features of iOS 4, the Paddy Power app will block the apps usage outside the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland.

Currently, only Paddy Power, Betfair, Ladbrokes and Bwin have managed to get their iPhone betting apps listed in the Apple App Store.
