Oceans Eleven Star Don Cheadle Signs With Full Tilt Poker

Don Cheadle, the star of movies such as Oceans Eleven, Crash and Hotel Rwanda, has been signed up by Full Tilt to become a “Friend” of the poker rooms.  The Hollywood stars name will now appear in red anytime he plays at the site.

Cheadle has participated in some high profile tournaments over the years including the NBC National Heads Up Championship and the 2007 NHUPC where he scored his most famous victory over Full Tilt Pro Phil Ivey.

In recent times Cheadle has been best know for his humanitarian efforts as co founder of the Ante Up for Africa poker charity, which he set-up with Norman Epstein and Annie Duke. To date the project has raised nearly $2 million for the people of Sudan.

Commenting on his sideline career as a poker player, Don said "I've done alright in the televised tourneys I've participated in and I've won several tournaments around town. I have yet to play in the WSOP events, but I hope my schedule will permit me to do so in the future."
