Carbon Poker, the latest online poker room to accept US players, has been attracting a lot of attention recently because of their Bad Beat jackpot. The poker room has set a new world record for the biggest ever Bad Beat Jackpot online.

The Bad Beat Jackpot has not been won since it was introduced around the middle of last year, and currently stands at over $1 million dollars.

The Carbon Poker Bad Beat Jackpot is seeded by taking $0.50 from every pot on the Bad Beat labelled ring game tables. As soon as a player has a monster hand cracked, the jackpot will be won and every player at the table will receive a share while the person with the losing hand will receive the largest percentage.

According to Jay Manning, a Carbon Poker spokesman: "The listed Bad Beat tables, which range from $.50/$1 to $5/$10 at the high end, are constantly full around the clock. Players have been flocking to play at Carbon Poker as we are offering the lowest qualifying hand as well as the largest prize pool at any card room ever, this is an industry first."

The poker room also announced that they will be launching a new version of their gaming platform next month that will feature an advanced mini mode and a table customiser.
