High Stakes Poker TV Show Lineup Announced

High Stakes Poker is returning for its 5th season and this years bumper lineup is already creating quite a buzz.  The show will feature poker legends such as Phil Hellmuth and Doyle Brunson, as well as newcomers such as 2008 World Series of Poker Champion Peter Eastgate and runner up Ivan Demidov.

News that the buy-in has been increased to $200,000 has also generated some excitement, as last years buy-in of $100,000 had increased to $500,000 by the shows finale.

The players scheduled to appear include: Doyle Brunson, Phil Hellmuth, Daniel Negreanu, Phil Ivey, Barry Greenstein, Howard Lederer, Tom "durrr" Dwan, David Benyamine, Ilari "Ziigmund" Sahamies, Ivan Demidov and WSOP Champion Peter Eastgate.

Filming of the popular TV show will run from December 19-21 at the Golden Nugget in Las Vegas and will be broadcast on GSN sometime in the New Year.
