UltimateBets Best Damn Poker Show Returns Tonight Jan 12th

Popular TV show, Best Damn Poker, returns to our screens tonight (January 12th) on the Fox Sports Network at 9 p.m. across all U.S. time zones. The reality TV is sponsored by Ultimate Bet and the second series is set to run for 7 episodes.

The show stars UltimateBet's Phil Hellmuth and Annie Duke, who both compete to see who can better teach the game of Texas Holdem and transform ordinary poker players into champions capable of competing against the best. This year the show begins with 24 poker contestants who, battle it out every week to stay in the competition and avoid elimination.

Like the 2008 series, hopefuls qualified by creating and submitting a video to UltimateBet, highlighting why they desereved a place on the popular TV show. UltimateBet also ran a series of qualifiers during the year that awared spots on the show.

Phil Hellmuth and Annie Duke will analyze and advise each of the contestants throughout the series. To stay in the show, contestants have to demonstrate that they can compete in a live setting and apply the lessons tought by their tutors.

Each one of the 7 episodes will be repeated at 11:00p.m. and 12:30am and additional footage will be available exclusively online.
