A host of new celebrities have been confirmed for the inaugural Ante Up For Africa
Europe Celebrity Charity Poker Tournament, which will take place on Monday, April 27th, during the PokerStars European Poker Tour (EPT) Grand Final Week.
Poker pros such as Daniel Negreanu, Vanessa Rousso and Joe Hachem will be joined by Queen Elizabeths granddaughter Zara Phillips, rapper Nelly, tennis legend Boris Becker, French rugby
players Sebastien Chaba, socer players Teddy Sheringham and Good Charlottes Joel and Benji Madden to name just a few.
PokerStars will donate all the money raised at the €4,000 buy-in
no-limit Texas Hold em tournament to the charities
working to improve the situation in Darfur. The Ante Up For Africa project as raised nearly $2 million to date for the people of Sudan. The winner will take home a prize package for the European Poker Tour event to be held in the Bahamas in January next year.
