Bertrand 'Elky' Grospellier Sets New Sit N Go World Record

Frence poker pro, Bertrand "Elky" Grospellier, set a new world record today for the most Sit and Go tournaments played in 1 hour.  The extraordinary event took place on PokerStars yesterday at the PokerStars European Poker Tour's Grand Final in Monte Carlo.

For the record to stand, Grospellier had to complete all of the tournaments and finish with a profit.  In the end, the frenchman managed to play 62, $6.50 single table tournaments within the one hour time frame.  He finished with $426.20 after spending $403 on buy-ins, giving him the $23.60 profit needed to set the new benchmark for SNG's.

During the hour, Grospellier was simultaneously juggling almost 30 different tournaments across 4 monitors.

Bertrand "Elky" Grospellier is a member of the PokerStars pro team and has accumulated over $6 million in tournament winnings to date.
