Magazine Editor Philip Conneller Takes PKR Live Event Title

The Editor of Bluff Europe, Philip Conneller, walked away with a $20,000 first place prize at last weekends 1st ever PKR Live Main Event.  Conneller, who's PKR username is escalope, came out on top of a field of 150 players who decended on London’s Loose Cannon Club to play for a share of the $90,000 prize money.

The inaugural PKR Live event commenced with a $60 buy-in tournament, where 138 players competed for a prize pool of just over $8,000.  The tournament was eventually won by Gareth ‘ChivalrousGent’ Rees.

The PKR $500 Main Event took place the following morning. After 20 hours of action, spread out over 2 days, Conneller's eventually took the title when his 7 - 2os hit runner-runner to make an unlikely straight.
