Oleg Suntsov Wins Russian Poker Tour RPT In St Petersburg

The inaugural Russian Poker Tour event was won by local player Oleg Suntsov who walked away with the first prize of $300,000 / 10,616,000 (Russian Rubles). The PokerStars sponsored tournament made its debut in St. Petersburg this weekend and attracted over 200 players.

Oleg, who is a regular player on the St Petersburg tournament scene, started the final day with the smallest stack but managed to turn things around to take the title and a share of the $1 million prize pool.

The next stop on the RPT is Moscow, where the $10,000 buy-in Main Event will kick off on February 25th.
