PokerStars Hold Charity Poker Event In Aid Of Darfur

The world's largest poker room, PokerStars, have announced that they will be holding a special charity poker tournament in support of the humanitarian effort in Darfur. The event, to be called Ante Up For Africa Europe Celebrity Poker Tournament will take place on April 27th, the day before the Main Event of the PokerStars European Poker Tour 5.
All of the money raised at the €4,000 buy-in no-limit Texas Hold em tournament will be donated to the charities working to improve the situation in Sudan. The lucky winner will walk away with a prize package for the European Poker Tour event to be held in the Bahamas in January next year.
Poker pros such as Daniel Negreanu, Vanessa Rousso and Joe Hachem have already confirmed that they will be competing to support the aid workers and peacekeepers in the region.
