The eleventh edition of the Full Tilt Online Poker Series (FTOPS XI) got off to a flying start last night when the first event easily surpassed the $1 million guaranteed prize pool. The $200+$16 no-limit hold'em event a field of 6,275 players and generated a total prize pool worth $1,255,000.

The first place prize of $216,512.60 was won by online player David "muckducks" Cairns, who also received a gold FTOPS jersey and a much coveted Full Tilt Poker gold avatar. 737 other players walked away with a slice of the total prize pool.
