PokerStars Unveil New Spring Championship of Online Poker

PokerStars have announced a brand new spring tournament called the Spring Championship of Online Poker (SCOOP). What makes the new series different is that each event will have 3 buy-in levels, allowing players of all levels to compete.

The new series runs from April 2nd to 12th and is made up of 22 events that are split into 3 levels - a low, a medium and a high. The first event in the SCOOP schedule is a no-limit holdem rebuys tournament, with 3 buy-in levels of $5.50, $55.00 and $530.00. The 2 day $5 million guaranteed Main event will take place from April 12-13 with buy-ins ranging from $109 to $10,300

The new PokerStars series offers a $30 million prize pook guarantee and will feature events in Hold’em, Omaha , H.O.R.S.E., 6-Max No-Limit Hold'em, Triple Draw 2-7, Mixed Hold’em, 7-card stud, Razz, and 8 Game Mixed.
