When the 8th season of the World Poker Tour returns to our TV screens later this year, it will once again be broadcast on the Fox Sports Network. A deal was announced today between the WPT and the cable network which will see them extend their broadcast agreement for at least another year.
The Fox Sports Network won exclusive rights to broadcast 26 one-hour episodes across the United States and will begin filiming later this summer.
Season 7 episodes and reruns from Season 1 have already proven to be a rating winner for the popular sports network that broadcasts into more than 80,000,000 homes across the United States.
